About the client
The client is an international platform for hiring remote specialists and organizing payouts to contractors from different countries.
The service helps companies work with freelancers, remote employees, and contractors: find specialists, create work tasks, accept deliverables, make payments, and generate closing documents.
The platform includes three key products:
- Connect — helps clients and contractors find each other and agree on cooperation terms;
- Payroll — used to organize payouts to remote specialists;
- Invoice — helps process payments and close tasks with the required documents.
Tasks
- migrate the website from Tilda to WordPress;
- create a Help Center section with subsections from scratch;
- improve the website and product pages according to the client’s needs;
- support the project after the main development stage: make edits, improve functionality, update blocks, and help the client’s team release changes faster.
Development timeline
The client already had a website on Tilda, but it no longer met their needs. We rebuilt the website on WordPress so the client would have a more flexible foundation for further project development.
We created a Help Center section with subsections, implemented blocks based on ready-made designs, refined the website functionality, and helped adapt product materials to the required structure.

We checked every improvement before publication: tested block display, links, menus, and individual user scenarios. This helped release changes carefully and reduce the risk of errors on the live website.
We handled technical tasks that helped keep the project stable and manageable — from data logging, backups, and log checks for individual pages and product scenarios, to fixing redirects and links, refining email settings and page buttons, and helping with UTM tags.

Hiring and task management
A section for choosing freelancers and services on the website
Finding a contractor via Connect
Connect helps a client find a suitable freelancer or remote specialist within the platform. The client can post a task, review contractor responses, and discuss the terms before the work begins. For this, the platform includes an internal chat: before concluding a deal, both sides can clarify the details, agree on the format of the deliverable, and decide on the next steps. This scenario is convenient for companies that regularly involve external specialists and want not just a list of responses, but the entire hiring process within a single platform. From the contractor’s side, the process is simpler: freelancers do not create tasks themselves, but respond to clients’ offers.
An email with a link for inviting a familiar freelancer
Inviting an existing contractor
The platform is useful not only for finding new contractors. If a client already works with a specific remote specialist, they can invite them via a link. In this case, there is no need to go through the full search and response flow: the connection between the client and the contractor is established immediately, and after that they can create a work task and move on to execution. This scenario is especially useful for companies that already have a pool of trusted freelancers but still need a centralized process for managing tasks, payouts, and documents.

Work task and deliverable submission
After the connection between the client and the freelancer is confirmed, the client creates a work task. The contractor uploads the deliverable from their personal account: this can be a file or a link to a file. After that, the client reviews the work and changes the task status. This scenario makes the process transparent: the result is recorded in the system, and task decisions do not get lost in chats or third-party messengers.
Payments and financial documents
Section interfaces
Payouts via Payroll and Invoice
Payroll and Invoice cover the financial side of working with contractors. These products are used to process payments, record task results, and generate closing documents.
Adding bank cards in the freelancer interface
Payment details methods
During registration, the freelancer enters the details required to receive payouts. If needed, they can add several bank cards.
Platform support and content management

Help Center for platform users
We created a Help Center section with subsections so users could understand the platform’s products and workflows faster. The Help Center helps reduce the support team’s workload: instead of contacting a manager every time, users can find instructions on their own. This is especially important for complex services with several roles, products, and user scenarios.
Switching between versions
Independent management of language versions
The project has English and Russian versions, which effectively function as two separate websites. This gives the client’s team more flexibility: they can independently configure content, change blocks, and publish materials for different audiences. This approach is convenient for international products where the Russian and English versions may differ not only in translation, but also in structure, messaging, offers, or individual pages.
