About the project

Moscow Silk is a place with a rich history offering its clients multifunctional space for business and leisure.

There are 18 buildings constructed in different periods and now located on the territory of the Business Quarter with developed infrastructure. Here loft projects of the XIX century meet and harmoniously combine with modern offices.

Target audience

  • Potential tenants

    — the clients who are interested in renting commercial space for business. For example, an entrepreneur looking for a place in a business center with high traffic and paying customers to set up a franchised coffee shop.

Their objectives on the website are to find out about location, enterprises and companies located nearby, to learn offers for renting premises and choose a room, get directions and come to inspect the premises.

  • Business Quarter residents

    — the current Business Quarter tenants who already use the services of Moscow Silk and other residents. For example, there is a brokerage company that has recently located on the territory of Moscow Silk.

Their objectives on the website are to access the Business Quarter services quickly, download necessary documents and forms, view the corporate buses schedule, get fast communication with the administration and services, choose where to go at lunch, where to spend leisure time after work.

Technical specifications

Designing a web service that increases the Business Quarter revenue by attracting customers to rent commercial premises and sell internal services to its current residents.

The website should have an introductory section, an interactive map, catalogues of tenants and available premises for rent, and a section for residents.

Home page

We collected all the most important things that a future resident of the Business Quarter needs to know on the home page. The composition and order of the page blocks are designed in a way to satisfy all the clients’ needs and objectives with the most convenient navigation and the fastest getting the result.

First screen

This is the first place a new user sees, so we brought the description, offers and benefits to the screen. Due to this, residents get clear directions to appropriate sections using the navigation button. We chose a semantic background creating the effect of immersion in the territory of the Business Quarter.

Interactive map

Using the map you can easily find suitable premises for rent, as well as see which organisations are located nearby. The map features a filtering system based on the type of a room, area, and cost. It is also possible to configure the display of residents: for example, select cafes and restaurants or show only stores on the map.

Mobile version

The full functionality of the interactive map is also available on mobile devices

Business Quarter history

A special section is devoted to the rich history of Moscow Silk Quarter, which has firmly established itself among the leaders of the Russian textile industry since the middle of the 19th century. The complex took part in supplying our compatriots with ammunition during World war II and has successfully turned into a modern business space with a strong club community up to now.

Final blocks

We provided website visitors with an opportunity to leave a message or ask a question on the home page. There is a “back-to-top" button near the footer; it scrolls the page to the very beginning. We implemented that because lots of people return to the top after viewing the page. We placed the website navigation, links to social networks, address, opening hours and contact forms in the footer.

Navigation bar

Top navigation bar has 2 options, full and short. The full one contains detailed information, and the short one is a compressed form that takes up less screen space and offers a hamburger menu. The full version of the bar is converted to a short one when scrolling the page, and displayed only at the top of pages.

Navigation menu

The drop-down list shows structured navigation through website sections, as well as links to social networks, contacts, and form buttons. Its structure is similar to the website footer for easier perception.

For residents

We designed a separate section for current residents of the Business Quarter. It offers to purchase club cards that allow them to get privileges and discounts in local stores, use an interactive map to search for restaurants nearby, and handle necessary issues - check shuttle schedule, download documents and forms, call the manager or dispatcher.

News

Life in the Business Quarter does not stand still, new events are constantly happening, exhibitions are opening, the assortment is being updated in cafes and restaurants, and promotions are appearing in stores. So there is a special information section with current publications on the website to keep the residents of the quarter up to date with all new events.

Internal web pages

We worked out the website architecture with 3 levels: the building, the rental space page, and the page for residents. Each page offers a detailed view of the object and detailed information about it.
